A few of these were taken in the garden at home in Devon, but most of the more exotic ones were shot in the butterfly farms in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK and Semtosa, Singapore.  Since joining Butterfly Conservation, I've been visiting UK Nature Reserves that are being managed for butterflies and moths.  Some of the later pictures were taken at Cleeve Common, Cheltenham and at the Countryside Stewardship scheme on Weston Cliffs, near Branscombe.
